The We Quiz ("we", "us", "our") is a daily quiz for two people. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app or this website, you agree to the practices described here.
Note: This is a starting template. Before publishing, review it with legal counsel and replace the contact details and company information with your own.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address or phone number, and the connection to your partner's account.
- Quiz activity — your answers, points, streaks, and quiz history, which are shared with the partner you connect to.
- Purchases — subscription and purchase status, processed through Apple, Google, and our payments provider RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment card details.
- Device & usage data — app version, device type, and diagnostic information used to keep the service running.
How we use your information
- To deliver the daily quiz, pair you with your partner, and keep score.
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases across your devices.
- To send notifications you've enabled, such as when a new quiz drops.
- To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
Sharing
Your quiz answers and points are shared with the partner you connect to — that is the point of the product. Beyond that, we share data only with service providers who help us operate (such as hosting, analytics, and payment processing), or when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed with RevenueCat. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by the app store on your account. See our Terms of use for subscription details.
Data retention & your choices
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your personal data, subject to any retention the law requires.
Children
The We Quiz is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
